Who is the comparison worthwhile for?
An option for suitable hard floors that are regularly damp-mopped. What matters is whether you want motor-assisted mopping and can then wash and dry the pads.

BUYING GUIDE · NOT OUR OWN LAB TEST
Hurricane Floating Mop
A cordless floor mop with rotating pads. It takes over the mopping motion; guiding, pad changes and cleaning the covers remain up to you.
When is it better not to buy?
For crumbs, hair and picking up liquids, a different device class is needed. A rotating mop is neither a vacuum cleaner nor a vacuum mop. If floor suitability is unclear, check the care instructions first.
| Device type | Cordless floor mop with two rotating pads, per MediaShop. |

Check before buying
- Check permissible moisture level and pad type for your specific floor.
- Distinguish between the base unit with charging accessories and pure replacement-pad offers.
- Compare the number and type of pads in the delivery list.
- Allow space for charging as well as washing and drying the covers.
Which alternative suits you?
For small spills, an existing mop may be enough. If you want to pick up dirty water, compare wet-and-dry vacuums separately. More accessories don't turn the Floating Mop into a different class of appliance.

- A complete base set with charging accessories
- Only the pads suited to your floor
- Replacement pads only after checking the existing scope of delivery
Comparing offers properly
Only compare identical model codes and the scope of delivery you actually need. Add shipping and any missing accessories. A bundle price is only worthwhile if you would otherwise have bought the extras separately.

Does the Hurricane Floating Mop also vacuum?
The model under consideration is a rotating floor mop. A suction function is not confirmed; remove loose debris beforehand.
