Enter the power in kilowatts from the grill's data sheet, your grilling time and the bottle price. A grill rarely runs at full power; calculate with the setting you actually use.
Calculation: kW × hours ÷ 12.87 kWh per kg propane (lower heating value, material value) = kilograms per evening; × price per kilogram = amount. Filling, deposit and ignition losses not included.
